Maximum grin per pound
No platform delivers more smiles per pound than a fast Ford. The Mk2 Focus ST's five-cylinder is a tuner's old friend - simple, strong, sounds like half an Audi V10. The EcoBoost era made software the first mod: every ST from Fiesta to Focus gives up 30-60hp to a map, and the hardware path (intercooler, downpipe, intake) is proven on tens of thousands of UK cars. Maxton's styling ranges for these shapes are among the biggest they make.
The proven upgrade path
Fast Fords - frequently asked
Do Focus and Fiesta parts interchange?
No - different platforms entirely, and even Focus generations differ substantially. The sidebar filter locks listings to your exact car; every product states its generation.
Is the Mk3 Focus RS head gasket issue real?
Early cars (2016) had a known head gasket fault, addressed under Ford's recall with a revised design. A documented fix - or a post-2016 build - and the 2.3 is thoroughly dependable, tuned or not.
Best first mod for a Fiesta ST180?
A Stage 1 map - around 215hp from 182, sharper throttle and more mid-range, for less than a set of tyres. Induction and a cat-back follow for sound; intercooler before Stage 2.
Do you offer ECU tuning in-house?
Yes - Stage 1-3 and custom ECU mapping are done fully in-house. We don't currently offer parts fitting, but we're happy to advise on your install.
