Pulley, map, gone
The B8 S4 and S5 3.0 TFSI are the platform's stars because supercharger tuning is so satisfyingly mechanical: a smaller pulley spins the blower harder, a map makes sense of it, and 420hp arrives with factory smoothness. Dual-pulley setups push past 450. Around them sits a full family - EA888 2.0Ts that tune like Golfs, and the 4.2 RS models that stay analogue. One platform, three completely different characters.
The proven upgrade path
B8 - frequently asked
Do A4 and A5 parts interchange?
Mechanically the B8 saloon and coupé are the same car - engine, drivetrain and most suspension parts cross over. Exhausts and styling are body-specific and listed as such.
What does a pulley upgrade actually do?
A smaller supercharger pulley overdrives the blower for more boost. With a heat exchanger and a proper map it's good for roughly 80-110hp over stock on the 3.0 TFSI - with OEM-like drivability.
My S5 has a V8 - does the supercharger kit fit?
No - 2007-2011 S5 coupés run the 4.2 FSI V8. It's a wonderful engine but tunes like the RS models: breathing, exhaust and software finesse rather than boost.
Do you offer ECU tuning in-house?
Yes - Stage 1-3 and custom ECU mapping are done fully in-house. We don't currently offer parts fitting, but we're happy to advise on your install.
