Where fast Audis got affordable
The 8P S3 was the quattro answer to the Mk5 GTI - same EA113 heart, factory K04 turbo, all-wheel traction - and today it's one of the cheapest routes into a genuinely quick, genuinely tunable German hatch. Software alone finds 45hp; pump, intake and exhaust support 340+. The 8P RS3 brought the 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder that still defines the class. Because the platform is shared with the Mk5/6 Golf, chassis and brake upgrades are plentiful and proven.
The proven upgrade path
8P - frequently asked
Do Golf parts fit the 8P?
Many do - the PQ35 platform is shared with the Mk5/Mk6 Golf, so engine hardware and plenty of suspension crosses over. quattro cars differ at the rear; every listing here is confirmed for the 8P shell.
How far can a stock-turbo S3 go?
The factory K04 supports roughly 340-350hp with downpipe, intercooler, fuel pump and a proper map. Past that you're into hybrid turbo territory.
Is the 8P RS3 worth tuning?
Emphatically - the 2.5 TFSI picks up around 80hp on software alone, and the engine went on to prove itself at 500hp+ in later cars. Supporting cooling is the sensible pairing.
Do you offer ECU tuning in-house?
Yes - Stage 1-3 and custom ECU mapping are done fully in-house. We don't currently offer parts fitting, but we're happy to advise on your install.
