Audi A4 S4 RS4 B7

The B7 is the enthusiast's A4: a 2.0 TFSI that tunes like a Golf, a 4.2 V8 S4, and the high-revving RS4 - one of the great naturally aspirated saloons. We keep all three alive and improving.

The last analogue fast A4

Nothing after it sounds like a B7 RS4 at 8,000rpm. This generation rewards a different kind of tuning: the 2.0 TFSI cars take boost like their Golf cousins, but the V8s are about breathing, response and the chassis - intake and exhaust for the noise and a modest gain, then suspension to replace the ageing (and failure-prone) DRC dampers. Add the service parts that keep FSI engines healthy and a B7 becomes a car you keep forever.

The proven upgrade path

01
Software & breathing
Map plus intake and exhaust - modest V8 gains, transformed response and sound.
02
2.0T route
K04 conversion with fuelling and a map - 300hp from the four-cylinder cars.
03
Suspension
Coilovers (and DRC replacement on RS4) - the single biggest dynamic upgrade on any B7.
04
Keep it alive
Carbon cleaning, ignition and cooling refresh - FSI V8s reward maintenance with longevity.
// In-house ECU tuning
In-house ECU tuning for the 2.0 TFSI & 4.2 FSI
Stage 1-3 and custom mapping for the 2.0 TFSI & 4.2 FSI, all done in-house - the map to match the hardware above.

B7 - frequently asked

How much power can the RS4 gain?

Honestly: 15-25hp from intake, exhaust and a careful map - it's naturally aspirated and already highly strung. The transformation is in response, sound and the chassis, not the dyno sheet.

What's DRC and should I worry?

Audi's Dynamic Ride Control - linked hydraulic dampers on S4/RS4 that commonly leak with age. A coilover conversion is the standard fix and improves body control outright.

Can the A4 2.0T really make 300hp?

Yes - it's the EA113 family, so the Golf GTI's K04 conversion applies: turbo, fuelling, intercooler and a proper map. A quattro sleeper for sensible money.

Do you offer ECU tuning in-house?

Yes - Stage 1-3 and custom ECU mapping are done fully in-house. We don't currently offer parts fitting, but we're happy to advise on your install.
