Ten cylinders, one sensible engine
The C6 lineup ran from company-car TDIs to a 580hp twin-turbo V10 estate - the fastest wagon of its day. Twenty years on the recipe for each is clear. The TDIs are the value heroes: software transforms them for pennies. The V10s are occasion cars: the S6's NA unit wants exhaust and upkeep; the RS6's biturbo takes a map to ~650hp but rewards cooling and religious maintenance first. We stock the upgrade and the service side of all three.
The proven upgrade path
C6 - frequently asked
Is the RS6 V10 safe to tune?
A Stage 1 map to ~650hp is well within the engine's tolerance - but only on a healthy car. We'd always pair it with a cooling check and up-to-date maintenance; this is a complex engine that punishes neglect.
My air suspension is sagging - options?
Two: replacement air struts, or a coilover/air-delete conversion that removes the failure point entirely. Most owners doing anything performance-minded choose the delete.
What does a TDI remap actually give?
On the 3.0 TDI, roughly +50hp and +80lb-ft with unchanged economy on a light foot - the single best pound-per-improvement on the whole C6 range.
Do you offer ECU tuning in-house?
Yes - Stage 1-3 and custom ECU mapping are done fully in-house. We don't currently offer parts fitting, but we're happy to advise on your install.
